Identification of the Elements and Systematisation of the Pillars of Solid Waste Management

Purpose: This study identifies elements and systematises them into pillars based on relevant scientific publications the subject, highlighting actions that contribute to public authorities private organisations for developing Solid Waste Management (SWM), contributing environmental, social, economic sustainability. Methodology/Approach: research used content analysis method with aim of identifying main SWM. To this end, inductive approach was classify in a logical organised manner identified literature then systematise pillars. Findings: The SWM were: Public Management, Policies, Environmental Solutions Triple Bottom Line. Research Limitation/Implication: limitation is use articles between periods 2014 2018. Originality/Value paper: contribution expand deepen articulating concepts can be developed improved according characteristics different regions or localities, improving resources. As applied contribution, it possible analyse fields direct indirect action sectors implemented SWM, understanding limits each stakeholder effectiveness
